However leaving the drive or any drive plugged in the RAID slot just causes this process to be repeated. Wed Jul 24, I can’t wait to get home from work to get my machine running.

Argh! Need help with Asus A7V333-Raid.

I narrowed the problem to a failing power supply which I have replaced, and the machine is up and running and most of the hardware issues have gone except for the following. Supported by the biggest tech community forums. It also then having identified the drive as an array will not allow it to be shown if the drive connected to a non RAID slot.

I found that the os crashing or loss made raiding the os a waste, raid as storage rqid good. The problem I personally ran into was that after the system was assembled for testing just to remove the heatsink, I needed to first remove the video card and then the memory occupying the inner most slot just to get the heatsink off.

Something else that needs attention is the area around the CPU socket directly under the three hold down tabs used to secure your heatsink.
